Meet the Australian small pet experts who are part of the Guinea Pigs Australia Family! Our team members have backgrounds in Veterinary Medicine, nursing, exotics care and being overall pawesome pet parents to pampered Guinea Pigs and Rabbits. We are proud that our team are all based here in Australia.
Niomie
I have loved all things guinea pig and rabbit for the past 18 years. I started Guinea Pigs Australia when I was only 15 years of age writing an extensive care guide on guinea pig welfare and their nutritional requirements.
Years later I graduated from Veterinary Nursing and I have worked at several Veterinary Clinics throughout Australia. I have also assisted in small animal surgeries, rehabilitation and intensive care for both rabbits and guinea pigs.
I created Guinea Pigs Australia with the dream that all small furries deserve to be spoiled, pampered, and treated as a member of the family. I hope to teach these values to my daughter who is almost 2 years of age and continue the piggy obsession!
My mission is to ensure we promote the correct care for these precious pets and to also help new and existing pet parents find the correct information and products that are not only fun but safe and healthy.
I am proud to say that we are an Australian based company, supporting local aussie jobs with all our pigalicious products shipped out from Gold Coast QLD. I work daily behind the scenes packing your orders, creating care guides and sourcing new and exciting products for our pets to enjoy for years to come.Ā

Hi, my name is Monique and Iām very excited to be apart of the Guinea Pigs Australia team!
I have loved guinea pigs for as long as I can remember, I grew up owning them as a young child and by the time I was 14 I was running my own rescue dedicated to rescuing and rehoming guinea pigs in need.
I currently own 6 of my own guinea pigs. Harley, Joshi, Stewie, El, Luna and Grace.
The Guinea pigs in my arms are Harley and Joshi! While the Guinea pigs in my lap are Bill and Ben who are rescue guinea pigs available for adoption.
I will be online once a week sharing content from piggy friendly items, to educational posts.
Iām also excited to announce that you can now follow Guinea Pigs Australia on TikTok ā@guineapigs_australiaā where I will be sharing fun and educational videos.
Many post will feature some rescue piggies too!Ā š¹

Hi everyone! My nameās Katy. You wonāt see my face around much but you will certainly see my cheeky piggy cartoons around the GPA website and social media.
Iāve come on board in 2022 as part of the marketing team, assisting with graphic design and illustration to help bring these incredible little animals into the spotlight!
Iāve been a graphic designer for over 15 years but Iāve loved drawing and guinea pigs since I can remember, so this job at GPA is literally a match made in heaven.
Iāve got five guinea pigs of my own, and Iām happy to say my guinea pig obsession has rubbed off on my two kids as well!
Itās always been my goal to advocate proper care and information surrounding these little guys, as there is plenty of myths and misinformation out there! Now that Iām on board with GPA, I hope, through my cartoons, that I can help show and educate the public on what great little animals guinea pigs are!
